Ice Fishing
Enjoying New Hampshire’s Winter Wonderland

Getting cabin fever after the holidays?
Looking for fun ways to get the kids outside during school vacation week?
Wintertime is a great time to be outside in New Hampshire. And ice fishing is the perfect activity when our lakes are frozen. We offer trips on both Lake Winnipesaukee and Crescent Lake in Wolfeboro, NH.
The guide will suggest which lake and your meeting location depending on current ice conditions and fish activity. Bass, pickerel, perch, crappies, and trout are all potential target species sought.

Accommodations
Safety is the priority and we want to ensure an enjoyable day on the ice. Trips vary according to the lake chosen and the weather conditions. To keep our guests comfortable and warm, a bobhouse, portable shelters, heaters, chairs, handwarmers, and cleats are provided along with all the necessary fishing gear. We use a snowmobile to transport guests and gear to our chosen fishing spot.

The Fishing Experience
Your guide will be on site prior to your arrival. He will set up the location, prepare the shelter, get the heat going, drill some holes, and get lines ready to go. When you arrive, after a brief safety overview and gear check, you will head out on the ice. Depending on conditions and location, you will either take a nice walk or a snowmobile ride to the fishing spot.
At the fishing spot, the guide will show you how to use the auger, set up tip ups, bait rigs, and jig for the desired species. You may opt to fish from inside the shelter or stay outside if it is a nice day. Multiple lines are permitted for each angler. We use a combination of tip ups and jigging.
We serve many families and father/son teams. And do our best to provide maximum action for the kids. If you've always wanted to try ice fishing and don't know where to start, this is a perfect trip for you.
