Rockin' and Rollin' on Friday night

Friday was my windiest trip of the season. The winds on Winnipesaukee were blowing at 12 - 19 mph according to the weather app. This, if you know Winnipesaukee creates some waves across the Broads. There were whitecaps with 1-2 ft seas. It was a bumpy ride with a bit of spray coming over the bow.

But that didn't stop Allison and David! We had a great time and consistently put fish in the boat. They caught a nice mix of smallmouth bass, white perch, sunfish, and rock bass. There were several smallmouth over 3lbs and more in the 2lb range. We had half a dozen white perch, which were a nice surprise, with the biggest weighing 1.5lbs.

The sunset was amazing. It looked so cool. I'm told the interesting haze was from the Canadian wildfires.
