Getting cabin fever after the holidays? Looking for fun ways to get the kids outside? Maybe you already know how to ice fish but would like to go out with someone who knows the area? Wintertime is a great time to be outside in New Hampshire. And ice fishing is the perfect activity when our lakes are frozen. We offer ice fishing trips on Lake Winnipesaukee, as well as some of the smaller lakes and ponds in the area. The guide will suggest your meeting location depending on current ice conditions and desired species sought. Bass, pickerel, perch, crappies, and trout are all potential targets. The trip will vary according to the lake chosen and the weather conditions. Safety is priority and we want to ensure an enjoyable day on the ice. Portable shelters, heaters, chairs, handwarmers, and cleats will be provided along with all the necessary fishing gear. A Snowdog (www.snowdog.com) is available to pull the sleds with gear to our spot. All you need to bring is appropriate clothing, your food, and a valid NH fishing license. Be sure that you have warm clothing and good boots. You will be standing on ice after all. And there will be some walking involved. So, book your date, grab your snow gear, and let’s have some fun!
